Dear International Partner,

We are glad to invite you to the INTERNATIONAL WEEK: Socially Responsible Business and Technologies . The week will be organized on 20-23 of April, 2009 and will take place at the campus of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University – Saulėtekio al. 11, Vilnius. We decided to invite all applicants and create 4 student target groups: one group comprising Environmental Engineering students, one group comprising Civil Engineering students and two groups comprising Business Management students.

The arrangements will take place in the frames of the LLP/Erasmus exchange cooperation. The International Relations Office of VGTU will take care of all the practical arrangements during your stay. Please note the expenses covering accommodation and travelling of the participants should be covered by the Erasmus grants of the participating universities.

LECTURES .  The international lecturers are expected to deliver a series of lectures (5 academic hours) in English to one student group in their respective field. One academic hour lasts 45 min. Please check time table for the time of your lectures. Room numbers will be known on your arrival and will be hand out on Monday, 20th of April together with information package.

The final assignment will be a test. VGTU students will get 3 ECTS credits for the participation in the international week.

FINDING VGTU. The best way to travel from the centre is to take Trolleybus line Nr. 2 or Microbus Nr.6, the bus stop on campus is called “Technikos universitetas”. The ride from the old town takes about 35-40min. The Week will be held in Central Building and Faculty of Environmental Engineering (Saulėtekio al. 11). When you arrive on Monday, please follow the signs, to find Senate Meeting Hall for  registration.

In case you will be lost, have difficulties or need information, please turn to International Relations Office in Central Building, 5th floor, room Nr. 517.

CERTIFICATES AND DOCUMENTS. We will hand certificates to teachers on 23rd of April, after the International Fair. If you will need other documents to be signed, please leave them in International Office.
